I have been thrown out of auditions: Harsh Rajput

The young and talented Harsh Rajput of Zee TV’s Janbaaz Sindbad (Sagar Pictures) got chatty with Tellychakkar.com about his role, show, journey and more. Read on…

“I don’t think such fantasy shows are made regularly on TV. The graphic and editing is incredible. I have been a part of many famous TV shows, but this is my first one as the lead. My association with Sagar Pictures and Zee TV is flourishing. I feel proud to be a part of Sinbad,” said the actor.

Tell us little bit about yourself and journey in the industry...
 “I come from a small town called Navsari. I have always wished to become an actor and tried my luck at it when I was 17. I have had my share of struggle and pain. In fact, there was a time when I was thrown out of audition. Those incidents have made me stronger,” he answered candidly.

Since your co-actor Tarun Malhotra’s Kehermaan is also being appreciated, do you feel jealous? “Well, I think that’s because Tarun’s character is very powerful. On the other hand, my character is an evolving one, which eventually becomes a fighter. In order to make the hero look stronger, the villain has to come across as more powerful. So there are not hard feelings or jealousy. We are good friends and enjoying shooting together,” he said.

Shooting with heavy costumes and performing action sequences- fun or hectic? The actor said, “I am having fun shooting for the show. All these action sequences are not explored on TV so often, so it’s great. Moreover, my costume is not that heavy.”
