I like the fact that the TV industry gives an opportunity to do episodics where an actor can explore his/her talent - Sangeeta Shrivastava

Sangeeta Shrivastava
Sangeeta Shrivastava has acted in a variety of films and serials in the past 2 years. Seen in shows such as Behenein (Star Plus), Ek Chutki Aasman (Sahara One), Adaalat (Sony TV), Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer (Zee TV), Jhansi ki Rani (Zee TV) and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Sony TV), the lady talks about how it feels to be a part of this industry. Expressing her thoughts in words Sangeeta said, “I always wanted to act, but due to family and other responsibilities I could not pursue it. At the age of 45, I doubted what my family and relatives would think if I spoke about my wish to enter the acting industry. But my first step towards acting was much appreciated and is still supported by my friends, relatives and family.” As an actress, Sangeeta always looks for an opportunity to explore her talent. Additionally, she has acted in a variety of advertisements, short films and movies such as Karan Johar’s Student of the year (Dharma Productions) as a professor. On her two year long experience in acting, the charming lady stated, “What I really like as of today is that the industry gives an opportunity to do episodics where an actor can explore his talent unlike before. So if I want to experiment with something new, I do not have to wait for a continuity role. I have done many episodic roles in serials like Yeh Hai Aashiqui (Bindaas TV), Webbed (MTV), Bhoot Aaya (Sony TV) and will soon be seen in Life OK’s Khauff (Somersault Productions) which starts 30 November onwards where I play a mother-in-law in one of the episodics.” On her future plans, she exclaimed, “For now, I am waiting for new opportunities to come my way.” We wish Sangeeta all the best for her career!!!
