MUMBAI : Zee TV’s popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs has been winning over everyone’s heart courtesy the amazing performances by the wonderful contestants. After a week of the splendid Teacher's Day celebrations, this week the popular reality show is set to celebrate the living legend of Bollywood, Amol Palekar and with the actor taking us on a trip down memory lane, the episode was extra special.

The Li'l Champs, Ranita Banerjee and Aryananda Babu started off the nostalgic journey by giving a stupendous performance on Jaaneman Jaaneman Tere Do Nayan from the movie Chhoti Si Baat, which starred Amol Palekar, Vidya Sinha, Dharmendra and Hema. The smashing rendition by the young kids left everyone spellbound, including our guest of honour and he praised the kids for their beautiful performance.

Revealing an unbelievable fact about his first bollywood movie, the actor said, "The song starts with superstar couple Dharamendra and Hema Ji in larger than life visuals of the movie sequence, where Vidya and I are watching  the film and in my imagination we are singing this song. We were supposed to shoot it like a regular day experience of a man, which involved standing in the queue waiting for the lift to go to office kind of visuals. That time Express tower was a newly made construction  and the scene was shot in the lift and at the lobby of it. You won't believe I used to work in a bank and I had taken leave from work to shoot this movie. So, my colleagues and friends, everyone in the fountain area were known faces, they were enjoying the scene because they knew me as the boy who works with them, was shooting for a film. Even I was enjoying that feeling a lot. It was an extremely fascinating combination of larger than life cinema world and a regular day at work directed by Basu Chatterjee."

He further added, "I remember that the Jaaneman Jaaneman song from the movie Chhoti Si Baat was not just my first hindi movie, it was the Male singer Yashodas Ji's first hindi song too. It was our firsts in bollywood and his voice and my face became a combination that even lead to the great success of chitchor movie songs."

Well, we couldn't agree more, it is indeed unbelievable of Amol Palekar Ji.

With Bollywood’s legendary Amol Palekar in the house, the viewers will surely have gala time, especially with his melodious songs being sung by the supremely talented Li'l Champs. While Saee and Tanishka will deliver a spectacular duet performance on Na Bole Tum na Maine Kuch Kaha, Saksham and Ananya's performance to Golmal Hai Bhai Sab Golmal Hai will surely win everyone's heart. All in all, the upcoming episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will have a lot of melodies, memories and surprises for the viewers.
