Recently, Aakash Aath's Jagat Janani Maa Sarada, which focuses on the life of Maa Sarada, completed airing 400 episodes.

In the daily, actress Arpita Mondal is playing the title role of Sarada Devi.

In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Arpita talked about the daily, her dream role and more…

She said, “I am glad to play this role. But it is not easy to become like her just by getting into the skin of her character. She is a Goddess. And it is all our hard work because of which we managed to reach this far. The journey has been really nice. It feels as if we started yesterday.”

Since it is a mythological series, how is the environment on the sets? The actress shared, “For shooting of the serial, Dakshineswar Kali Temple has been created on the set. In the morning, I worship the Goddess and then we start our work.  So, we begin our shooting by taking blessings of Goddess Kali. We work as well as have fun. We do not use our mobile phones on the set as such. And we have a good bonding with everyone.”

Talking about the best feedback she received so far, she said, “I regularly receive messages on Facebook and once a person told me: I watched your episode and it reminded me of my mother who is no more. This was really an important message for me.”

When asked what Arpita’s dream role is, she quipped, “I want to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.”
