MUMBAI: “We are glad that the viewers are liking it. Looking at the kind of hard work everyone is putting in to make this show work, it’s a bit of a relief and a constructive encouragement. This is a big show, a big platform. Let’s hope this show works wonders for everyone associated with the show,” he had earlier said.
It’s never too easy to make a space for yourself when you join a long-running show midway. But the challenge also keeps you on your toes and never lets you become complacent.
But acting isn’t the only craft that keeps him busy. Neeraj is also a Spanish tutor. He shares, “I started learning Spanish around four years ago. I didn’t have any project in hand then and wanted to use the time productively by learning something. From there on, it has been a very organic journey from learning Spanish to teaching it. One thing that I say about Spanish is how can you listen to it and not fall in love with it? I am absolutely in awe of that language and hence, I learn and teach Spanish out of passion and nothing else.” And his love for the language has prompted him to try his luck in acting in Spain. He says, “I am in touch with a few casting agencies in Mexico, Colombia and Spain. In fact, I even auditioned for a project backed by a Hollywood studio a while ago. I got a chance to audition because of the fact that I can speak in the language.”
Neeraj’s debut performance in the TV was in the serial ‘Purva Suhani Aai Re' in 2014. He played the lead actor in the serial 'Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi' on Zee TV. He worked in the serial ‘Ladies Special’ on Sony TV. He appeared in the Marathi Show ‘Shravanbaal Rockstar’ in the year 2016, in Zee Yuva.
