Esselvision Productions’ upcoming family drama for Zee TV, titled ‘Tashan-E-Ishq’ is now on floor.

We at Tellychakkar.com had exclusively reported about Zain Imam (Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan) playing the main protagonist on the show. We had also written about Bhupinder Singh being cast for a pivotal role.

Now, we get to hear that the show has got its female lead..

Model turned actress Jasmine Bhasin who has played the lead role in the Tamil movie Vaanam, we hear has been locked to play the female lead on the show. The girl has few other Telugu movies too as part of her body of work.

Also, seasoned actors Ashwin Kaushal, presently seen essaying the central character in Disney’s Goldie Ahuja Matric Pass has been roped in to play an integral character. Vaishnavi McDonald will also be seen in the show; she will play Ashwin’s sister.

As per a reliable source, “The show has already gone on floor, and will launch sometime in July.”

When contacted, Jasmine refused to comment.

Ashwin Kaushal confirmed that he is part of the show, but refused to divulge any further information.

Vaishnavi asked us to call her later.

Our efforts to reach to a spokesperson at the channel and at Esselvision remained futile.
