Jhalak's awesome wrap up bash...but Gurmeet and Rashmi give a miss

Out of the three finalists, only Rithvik Dhanjani showed up at the bash. Even the three judges, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Remo Dsouza were found missing at the do. Taking advantage of this situation other contestants like Giaa Maanek, Karan Wahi, Talat Aziz made their presence felt and really rocked the dance floor. Giaa danced to glory and last minute entry Isha Sharvani also came in sans her plaster (wonder how it healed so fast). Furthermore, out of the hosts Ragini Khanna was present but Manish Paul chose not to attend. Gurmeet’s choreographer partner Shampa Sonthalia reached the venue quite early and looked sexy in a short dress and happily posed for the shutter bugs with her winning trophy. Most of the other choreographers including Salman Yusuff Khan and Deepak were also spotted on the dance floor. The Colors and BBC team were present in full strength. Colors’ CEO Raj Nayak also decided to let his hair down after a hard day at work and danced with élan. Nonfiction Head (Colors) Manisha Sharma and Myleeta Aga (Managing Director and Creative Head, BBC Worldwide India) were also in great spirits. Myleeta shared with Tellychakkar.com. “This was one of our better seasons. We not only had good dancers but got great entertainment as well.” But coming back to the absence of Gurmeet and Rashmi, we decided to find out the real reason behind it. Gurmeet’s phone was switched off but our sources told that he was too tired to attend the party for he had been sleeping really less all these days since he took up Jhalak. “He also had to go for an early morning shoot of Punar Vivah,” the source added. We also called up Rashmi and she stated, “I have been down with fever…so did not have the strength to attend the party.” Well…at the end, we just want to state that Jhalak season 5 was a rocking one!!!
