Jyotsna Chandola, who essays the role of Khushi in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions) will soon get yet another makeover in terms of her onscreen look.
Yes, and this comes after she was given a glam avatar when the post leap story phase kick-started.
Jyotsna will yet again be seen in a glamorous avatar, but with a difference!! The speciality of the look will be the waistband that she will wear around her sleek tummy.
So how much does her onscreen look matter for the actor in her?
Well, Jyotsna went on to reveal certain facts, which indicated to her growth as an actress.
Said Jyotsna, “When I started my career, I never bothered about my look. I used to hurry up while doing the make-up, and would concentrate more on my lines and performance. However, with time, I have realized that the look too matters a lot in addition to one’s performance. An actor should strike a good balance between the two to gain popularity. So I make sure to enquire with my cameraman and director whether all is fine with my look. I am not an actor who would be using touch-ups at regular intervals. So I make sure by asking them.”
Jyotsna also added, “I also make sure that I watch all my episodes. I am very particular about my level of performance and look. And if I see anything wrong, I tend to correct myself. It is always important to strike a good balance between preparing your lines on time, and getting your makeup done perfectly.”
In the new look provided for her in Sasural Simar Ka, Jyotsna simply cannot stop admiring the waistband that she puts.
On the make-up tips that she has received, Jyotsna also made a startling revelation. “When I started my career, I have been a laughing stock for having improper make-up. I will not name people, but there have been few who have asked me to take more care about how I look and present myself. There have been times when I have eaten up a bit of my lipstick, and people have noticed that. But thankfully, those days are gone now. I will not call myself a pro when it comes to looking good. But in the five years of my acting stint, I have learnt a lot on how to present myself well. Also, this new look of mine actually motivates me to go to the gym daily, as my shape gets revealed in the attire I have been given.”
Way to go, Jyotsna!! Performance and appearance is the key to a good future...
