Kanishka Soni to replace Vaishnavi Dhanraj in & TV's Begusarai

While viewers are ready to get glued to the generation leap in the story with the introduction of new leads, we bring to you one important development. Vaishnavi Dhanraj who played the role of Maya Thakur before the leap has also quit the show. And getting into the skin of the character now will be talented actress cum singer, Kanishka Soni. As we know, Kanishka is also seen presently in Sony TV’s Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman in the role of Sumitra. As per reliable sources, “Shweta Tiwari who essays the Badi Thakurain and Kanishka as the Choti Thakurain will be poles apart in their characterization. While Bindiya will be negative, Maya will have positive shades.” When contacted, Kanishka confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I will be entering the show. I have a meaty role, and am excited about sharing screen space with Shweta Tiwari, as our characters will always be at loggerheads.” The actress, we hear has started shoot.
