Karan Kundra out; Abhay Deol to host Channel V Gumrah season 4?

This is breaking news on Tellychakkar.com. The cult and super popular show on Channel V Gumrah will see a new host. In its upcoming season 4, which as per source information is expected to air in August (2014), Lost Boy Productions will no longer co produce the project. It will be helmed completely by Balaji Telefilms. “Gumrah was a co production between Balaji and Vikas Gupta’s Lost Boy. But Vikas is now a Programming Head in the rival channel MTV, hence his Gumrah association with Channel V looks bleak,” said an industry source. Hmm…that sounds understandable!!! Now, here’s the biggie. Gumrah’s original and popular host Karan Kundra will no longer be associated with the venture anymore. Shocker…isn’t it? Yes, as we all know, Karan is a part of MTV Fanaah, hence he would keep busy with the ‘vampire’ project and not be a part of Gumrah. So who will replace him? “After a lot of search and contemplation, the channel has decided to rope in Abhay Deol to host season 4,” said a credible source. Abhay needs no introduction.
