MUMBAI: The episode sees how Preeta tells Karan that she’s genuinely happy that he’s getting married as she will finally get rid of him forever. After she leaves, Karan’s eyes fill with tears. As Mahira comes to Karan, he quickly wipes his tears. She apologises to him and he nods and walks away. Meanwhile, Sherlyn threatens Prithvi that if he tries to cheat on her by marrying Preeta, she will expose him. Prithvi tries to make her understand but Sherlyn demands Prithvi to tell Sarla that he won’t marry Preeta. Prithvi gets perplexed because he does want to marry Preeta. Prithvi tells her that he cannot tell Sarla that Preeta isn’t a nice girl because she knows what he thinks about Preeta. He tells her that he will go and refuse the marriage but as he steps to leaves, Sherlyn slaps him. Janki and Sarla hear the noise and Janki tells Sarla that she’s going to check who’s inside but Sarla stops her.

Sherlyn gets convinced that Prithvi loves Preeta. Prithvi assures her that he only loves her. He tells her that if he talks ill about Preeta, his image in front of Sarla will not match with what image he has been maintaining. He tells her that he will simply go and refuse the marriage proposal. Sherlyn hugs him and agrees. Janki decides to check who’s in the room and as she opens the door, Sarla drags her away. They don’t see Sherlyn and Prithvi together. Later, Prithvi comes out of the room and tells Sarla and Janki that the sound of the slap that they heard was because his mother slapped him when he asked her about marrying Preeta. He tells them that his mother refused him to marry Preeta as last time whatever happened at his marriage has left her scarred. He apologises to Sarla and tells her that he cannot go against his mother’s will. He tells her that she was very upset which is why she slapped her. Sarla asks him if she can talk to his mother once. Prithvi tells her that he will ask his mother and let her know.

Later, Karan and Mahira come home and Ramona meets Karan. Karan’s mother notices that something is wrong with Karan and asks him. Mahira tells them that she got into trouble at his club and she deliberately mentions that Preeta and Karan saved her. Everyone gets stunned to hear Preeta’s name but Karan tells them that she’s just the physiotherapist at his club and he has nothing to do with her. He walks away and Ramon finds it absurd how he reacted to Preeta’s name. She asks the family to tell her who Preeta is but Mahira takes her away. Karan’s mother asks Kareena where Sherlyn is and she tells her that she’s probably making arrangements for Karan and Mahira’s engagement. Prithvi panics and asks Sherlyn what he should tell Sarla. Soon, Sherlyn gets a call from her friend who invites her to a party. Prithvi encourages her to go as he has something to do of his own in his mind. Meanwhile, as Mahira tells Ramona that Karan had been married to Preeta she immediately disapproves of their marriage. Mahira tries very hard and manages to convince Ramona. She even convinces Sonia. Later, Prithvi tells Sarla that his mother is very upset with him. Sarla decides to leave and Prithvi decides to execute his plan to fulfill his dream of marrying Preeta.
