Ladies of Gokuldham Society get a 'special brother' on Rakshabandhan

The cast and crew of SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) have been full of energy, and the ambience on the set of the popular show has been scintillating over the last few days, with the completion of 2000 happisodes.... This Rakshabandhan, the happiness on the set will double up as Asit Modi and his team pay a special tribute to the ‘jawaans’ of the armed forces who help and strive hard to bring in peace. And what’s more? All the ladies of the Gokuldham Society will celebrate Rakshabandhan in style by tying rakhis to the army jawaans. Nice indeed!! We hear that television actor and talk show host Karan Singh Chhabra has been roped in for this special episode. Says Karan, “I was delighted to know when the production house called me for this special episode. The entire set was in a festive spirit and all the ladies of Gokuldham Society tied rakhi on my hand and forcefully pushed sweets in my mouth.” Karan states that it was indeed joyous to get a sister like Daya Behen (Disha Wakani).
