Mumbai’s Film City which is covered with lush greenery all around, is a hub for set locations for daily series and films.
Film City is surrounded by dense forest and one often gets to hear about wild animals or venomous reptiles straying on the sets and attacking passers by.
Tellychakkar.com has received news about an unfortunate incident that happened on Saturday evening (22 July).
Our source informs us, “A family was having a good time outside the sets of Colors’ daily Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan. Shockingly, a leopard came and grabbed a little kid (2.5 years old) who was a part of the group. The Leopard grabbed the child by his neck and was walking away, holding the kid with its sharp teeth. After walking a few steps, the leopard dropped the baby and ran away.”
Later ,the child was rushed to the hospital immediately but unfortunately it was too late to save his life and was declared dead.
When we contacted Saahil Uppal, he confirmed the news with us and said, “The child’s mom came running to our sets when the leopard attacked. Sangeita (Chauhaan), Ankitta (Sharma) and I were outside the sets so we ran to the spot alongwith our production guys but till the time we reached there, the kid’s dad and uncle had already rushed to the hospital for the treatment. He was bleeding badly and after few hours we came to know that he is no more.”
“It was a very sad moment for all of us. We all were taken aback with this unfortunate incident. We often move out alone but after this incident, I don’t think it’s safe enough to roam alone,” he added.
Our condolences to the family of the little one!
