Today (1 April) happens to be ‘All Fools Day’ when people make fun of each other by pulling each other’s legs and taking each other by surprise. But we are doing nothing of that sort. We are reporting that two beautiful actresses of television viz Mahhi Vij (Nach Baliye winner) and Arshima Thapar (Bade Achhe…) are celebrating their birthdays on April Fool’s Day. Let’s check out how the two are enjoying this special day. Shared Mahhi, “Since last night, I have cut five cakes of which two were brought by Jay (Bhanushali). It was a customized cake, one of them had a design of shoes, shopping bags, makeup and nail paint. The other had my picture with mere hone wale baccho ki maa written on it (laughs). If that was not all, even Charlie (Chauhan) and Kunwar (Amar) surprised me with a Chota Bheem cake. Many people may not know that Charlie calls me Chota Bheem lovingly (smiles).” “As we have just come back from our US trip, both Jay and I are very tired. Maybe, this evening we will go out for a quiet dinner,” she added. Since today is April Fool’s Day, do you recollect any childhood memory that you would like to share? “Well, every time I called my friends over for a party, they would not believe it thinking that I was fooling them. As a matter of fact my dada dadi didn’t come to hospital when I was born thinking that my parents were fooling them; they actually came the next day.” That’s really funny Mahhi! Next, averred Arshima, “Some of my close friends brought in my birthday with cakes. Since I am shooting today, I have planned to go out for dinner with my family and friends, after I pack up.” “Hmm! There is one thing. Since my birthday is on April Fool’s Day, nobody forgets my special day. But at the same time I go crazy to convince people that it’s actually my birthday. This reminds me of a childhood incident when I had planned a last minute birthday party at my place. Since a lot of people of my building didn’t believe it, I had to literally cajole them to come over for the party. It was indeed an amusing moment of my life,” she added. Did you ever receive an empty box as a gift on your birthday? “No, I did not get an empty box but yes I got one with lot of waste papers stuffed in with just a chocolate in it. And guess what, my mom had played that prank on me. But today, I have received many lovely gifts like books, bag, clothes and jewellery.” Wishing both of you ladies a very happy birthday!!!
