The good looking popular actor Mohammad Nazim who plays Ahem in Saath Nibhana Saathiya is all set to quit the show.
The Rashmi Sharma Productions’ series will soon see a generation leap and the actor was not to keen to play a grandfather.
Reveals a source associated with the show, "He has already played a father for so long and is not willing to turn grandfather at this stage of his career. He doesn't want to get slotted in the grandparent category when he can play a male lead in a show. In addition to that, he has to go to Australia to shoot for a Punjabi film."
The actor has already conveyed his decision to quit the show and the story line is being worked upon to accommodate the same."
Nazim confirms, "I have decided to quit the show and my character would be seen going missing. I am not comfortable playing a granddad to actors just a few years younger to me. The character has made me what I am today. Let's see what is lined up next."
