&TV’s Badii Devrani (Shashi Sumeet Productions) has a huge cast and it’s obvious that there will be some healthy competition between actors. Well, it’s a common belief that two actors cannot be friends. But when it comes to a group of actors, they definitely have a gala time bonding with each other while shooting for long hours.
However, Shubhi Ahuja-Priyanka Singh and Ankit Vyas- Nikhil Sharma come across as an exception to this age old thumb rule.
Informs a source from the sets, “Playing Poddar family’s bahu and betas, off-screen they share a great bond with each other. Their friendship on-set is so famous that the production team and the cast tease Shubhi-Priyanka as Amber-Dhara or Tanu-Manu and Ankit-Nikhil as Karan-Arjun.”
Well, we called the actors to ask about their on-set nick names.
Talking about the bonding, Priyanka averred, “On-screen we try to prove ourselves as the best bahu of the family, but off-screen we are the best of friends. Since we shoot the entire day, we bond like sisters and also spend our break time indulging in some girly talks.”
Shubhi shared, “We have fun time in each other’s company and also share the same room. On-set all tease us as Tanu-Manu and we are like twin sisters (laugh).
Later we also spoke to the Karan-Arjun of the show.
Ankit quipped, “Oh, yes we are called Karan-Arjun as we have a brotherhood sort of bonding; our room is the hub of the set where everyone comes and we chat and have fun.”
Nikhil said, “I am a religious type of a person, so we have some spiritual talk. Also all call me babaji (laughs).”
Shubhi-Priyanka plays Manisha- Kajal and Ankit-Nikhil portray Nikunj-Jugal respectively in the show.
