Rajan Shahi (Director’s Kut) is all set to launch his next Tere Sheher Mein on Star Plus that will replace Everest from 2 March (tentatively). Tellychakkar.com had already reported about Hiba Nawab, Dhruv Bhandari, Rafi Malik, Gautami Kapoor and Sachin Tyagi being a part of the project. And now we have another name to add to the list.
Leggy lass and popular model Anjum Fakih, who has featured in some cameo roles on TV shows, has been roped in to play the parallel lead in Tere Sheher Mein opposite Rafi. The girl will be seen playing Gautami’s eldest daughter who would be bubbly and loving in nature.
Post her father’s death, the family will hit a difficult financial phase leading her engagement to be called off. Post moving to Banaras the girl will find solace in Rafi’s character’s company and the two will embark on a cute love story.
Anjum has been part of shows like MTV Chat House and Epic TV’s Time Machine among others.
