The crime based show Savdhan India on Life OK is currently presenting a series wherein its maker, Somersault Productions, has been roping in popular faces of TV to play leads.
After Sumona Chakravarti (Comedy Nights with Kapil, Bade Achhe Lagte Hai), it’s time for Mouli Ganguly (Kya Hua Tera Vaada, Ek Thi Nayika) Shweta Tiwari (Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Bigg Boss, Parvarrish) and Rashmi Desai (Uttaran) to be seen playing strong women characters in different stories.
In tonight’s episode, Shweta will play a woman being tormented by a stalker that would leave her all shattered. But to save her modesty she will take stand and bring her strong avatar to the fore. She will fight the man with utmost courage and get her life back on track.
Followed by this, Rashmi will be seen playing a newlywed bride who will be possessed by Mataji (Goddess). The family will celebrate the happenings and viewers will get to see how superstition can cross all boundaries. Her husband in the show will fight against all odds to bring her out from this supernatural belief.
And finally Mouli will be playing the character of Nehal, a girl in Gujarat who will be dark complexioned and not so good looking. This would create problems in her marriage and she would have to face the ordeal of the society. The episode will showcase her emotional journey and how she will finally stand up for herself.
Talking on the same, Mouli shares, “I avoid character repetition. This is a beautiful story and I am sure viewers will be inspired by it. We are currently shooting for the episode, and it’s all going really well.”
Rashmi on her part adds, “The first project of my career in this industry was with the producer of this show, Majid Azam. Somersault is a fantabulous production house which knows how to keep the environment light hearted, healthy and simultaneously help actors give their shots with perfection. I have hosted crime shows but never acted in it. I am a follower of Savdhan India and I am extremely excited for my first episodic.”
Shweta remained unreachable.
So catch the beauties of TV fight social injustice.
