Mudit Nayar to play the lead in Zee &'s Badi Devrani

Mudit Nayar, the chocolate boy of television will soon be back to enthral his fans with another boy-next-door role. Yes, he has been roped in to play the lead in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ show on the upcoming channel, Zee & (And). Titled Badi Devrani, the show will have the flavour of the Shashi-Sumeet super –successful show on Star Plus, Diya Aur Baati Hum in its huge cast and inidivual treatment given to all the characters. The shoot of the show is expected to start soon, and will have a Marwari setup. A reliable source states, “Mudit will play the youngest son. He will be fun-loving, childish in nature, and will be pampered by one and all in his family.” Coming to the renowned producers, they have given some entertaining shows like Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Punar Vivah (2 seasons), Kairee, Tumhari Paakhi. Their ongoing shows include Diya Aur Baati Hum and Ek Rishtaa Aisa Bhi on Sony PAL, and have the big-ticket show Tu Mera Hero on Star Plus all set for launch. They are presently planning the second season of Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki on Life OK. As for Mudit, he made his debut in Palampur Express and played the lead role in Sony TV’s Anamika. We tried contacting Mudit, but he remained unavailable. Our efforts to reach the Producer Sumeet H. Mittal were futile.
