MUMBAI: Vishal Aditya Singh has entertained masses by playing varied roles in all his shows. The actor is still remembered for his character in Begusarai, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and Chandrakanta. The actor has also participated in reality shows like Bigg Boss 13, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Nach Baliye 9.

In a chat with TellyChakkar, Vishal talks about her future plans and more.

What's keeping you busy these days?

I've done two music videos and focusing on my writing work.

What kind of roles do you see yourself doing in the near future?

I've worked for 11 years on television so now I'm looking forward to doing web series. I don't have any big commitments like paying rent or other responsibilities so I can wait for the right project to come my way.

What is your take on the current television shows?

I think television shows have no original content nowadays. They keep on making similar kinds of shows and sequels of shows which already had 3000+ episodes. Whereas in digital space the content is quite fresh and new. I'm waiting for a good script on television where I can give my blood and sweat to it. I think television shows should try to keep it finite and take reference from new books and current affairs in our country. It should reflect the reality of our society instead of sticking to the old mainstream stories.

Are you happy being single?

I really enjoy my single-hood so I like to focus on my career. It isn't like I'm not open to being in a relationship, but I want to stay the way I am right now.

How was your journey in reality shows?

Reality shows have helped me a lot because I became a household name. Also, it helped me to believe in myself and take more risks in my life now and take a leap in my career. Because if I don't do it now then I'll be stuck.
