MUMBAI: The green-eyed boy of Ishqbaaaz, Shivaay Singh Oberoi aka Nakuul Mehta, has many facets to his personality. Nakuul rose to fame with the role of Aditya Harish Kumar in Star Plus’ hit show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara opposite Disha Parmar. Recently, he was in the news for having come forward to urge fans to donate in the wake of the Kerala floods.

Here are a few things you might not know about him. Read on!

1. Nakuul is a descendant of King Prithviraj Chauhan.

2. He is a trained dancer, and knows ballroom dance, salsa, hip-hop, and jazz. Nakuul has also represented Maharashtra in AIDSF (All India Dance Sports Federation). He has also won medals for Rumba and Waltz.

3. Nakuul received a scholarship for an acting course abroad but did not go due to a Telugu film Abhimaan in 2005.

4. He appeared in a web series titled I Don’t Watch TV along with Rajiv Masand

5. He had to change schools 10 times, as his father was in the defence.

6. He enjoys dal baati and tiramisu.
