MUMBAI: Charu Asopa is a well known Television personality. She has been part of many Tv shows like Jiji Maa, Baalveer, Mere Angne Mein and many more. She was recently in the news for her separation with Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajiv Sen. Now she is in the news for another shocking reason.
Recently, while hunting for a new apartment, Charu was turned away and the reason will surely make you wonder. In her recent vlog, Charu expressed that being a single mother in the city has its own challenges. She said that many refused to give her an apartment in their building due to her being a single mother.
Charu revealed that she is looking to move as she has to travel a lot to get home from shoots and be with her daughter. She is looking for a place that is closer to her shoot locations.
On the other hand, actress Nisha Rawal was married to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Karan Mehra for more than a decade. The two are parents to son Kavish Mehra. Nisha filed a complaint after a physical spat with Karan. An FIR was registered under sections 336 and 337 of IPC and later Karan was granted bail on June 1.
Well, in an exclusive interview with Nisha, she disclosed shocking details about how she too had to face a similar situation and how when she wanted to rent a house. Nisha said, “This entire waiting process has become a power play and in the process, owners lose out on good tenants and in our country only people are stopping each other from getting a home.”
She further added, “I faced a similar incident and even though I had a child and my mother I was denied a flat. It is very shameful.”
This indeed is a very sad situation.
