The news of Sony Entertainment Television’s Ek Duje Ke Vaaste (Bindu Moving Images) going off-air sent fans into tizzy.

The loyal admirers of the drama sent signed petitions to the channel and have been resorting to all possible means to coax Sony to revoke its decision.  

“Fans have been constantly calling, messaging and mailing the channel, actors and maker, and requesting them to hear their plea,” shares a source.

All prayers seemed to have been answered when a media report claimed that Ek Duje has been re-instated owing to the plea and pressure of the fans.

However, we have confirmed information that the daily will meet its end, come 7 October.

Validating the development, Producer Dilip Jha tells Tellychakkar.com:  “I am not aware of any extension. I have not been intimated officially.  As per my knowledge, Ek Duje is shutting on 7 October.”

Sad news...so how will the drama end? We reveal here:

The plot will conclude on a happy note. Out of guilt, Ramnath (Satyajit Sharma) will confess to Shravan (Namik Paul) the real reason of his and Nirmala’s (Geetanjali Tikekar) divorce. Shravan will be stunned and feel sorry that he has been hating his mom for all the wrong reasons. He will bring Nirmala back home and apologise for his hatred.

Furthermore, both Suman (Nikita Dutta) and Shravan will confess their love for each other and promise to be together forever.

Aaaah...a perfect fairy tale ending.

We buzzed the  actors for a comment but they remained busy shooting.
