MUMBAI: Popular actor Sohail Khan was supposed to make his fictional TV debut with prestigious project Gama Pehelwan on Star Plus. While there have been no updates about the show since quite some time, we have heard something interesting regarding Sohail.
According to TellyChakkar’s sources, Sony TV’s upcoming cop-based show, produced by Salman Khan Films, has been commissioned. TellyChakkar was the first one to break the news of Mukul Dev and Pooja Gor playing the leads in the show. We also reported on IPL cricketer Yudhishthir Singh making his acting debut with the same weekly.
Now, as per latest rumours, Sohail Khan might join the show.
A little birdie informs us that although Sohail wasn’t a part of the program during its inception, he will be a part of it after the pilot. This will be Sohail’s fictional TV debut. The actor-turned-producer made his TV debut with Comedy Circus as a judge, which airs on the same GEC. Considering the Tubelight actor’s successful past with Sony TV, it is no surprise that he will make his fictional debut on it.
Currently, Sohail is shooting for the new season of Comedy Circus.
The cop-based drama is expected to go on floors quite soon.
We tried reaching out to the channel’s spokesperson but couldn’t get a response.
Do you think Sohail is apt to play the character of a Mumbai policeman?
