MUMBAI: Popular singer Mika Singh is all set to find his bride on a reality show. Reportedly, the singer will be participating in a swayamwar on national television where he will choose his bride. Earlier, celebrities like Rakhi Sawant, Shehnaaz Gill, Mallika Sherawat among others also searched for their partners via a televised swayamvar.

Now, according to the latest buzz, Mika Singh has charged a whopping amount to participate in his own swayamwar. According to a report, when the singer was approached for being a part of the show, he charged Rs 50 crore.

A source told ETimes, “When approached Mika Singh asking price is 50 crores for the participation in the show.”

Mika Singh is considered as one of the most eligible bachelors in tinsel town. He had earlier been linked with other celebrities but now, it seems that the bachelor is ready to settle down. Mika was also earlier linked with controversial personality Rakhi Sawant. They gained the limelight after Mika allegedly kissed Rakhi by force. If reports are to be believed, Rakhi will also be a part of Mika’s swayamwar on national television.

The singer will only get engaged on the show and will take his relationship further. He will not get married on the show.

Talking about the format of the show, a source further revealed , “The reality show will be similar to swayamwars from the past. It is planned to go on air in a few months. Mika will not get married on the show, he will only get engaged and will take his relationship further after that.”

“Mika is really excited to be a part of the show. Contestants participating in the show will be from across the country”, further revealed the source.

Mika Singh is the brother of popular singer Daler Mehndi and has made a name for himself in the Indian film industry with his hit songs. He is the voice behind songs like Mauja Hi Mauja, Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag, Jugni, Subah Hone Na De, Saj Dhaj Ke and many more. He became famous for his quirky voice quality and grabbed attention for his very first song in Bollywood Dil Mein Baji Guitar.
