OMG! Sandhya to resign from her IPS duties; find out why

Star Plus’ popular and long-running show, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) has recently seen the heart-breaking revelation of Sooraj (Anas Rashid) getting paralyzed. 

The show which initially saw the husband’s journey in helping and supporting his wife to fulfill her dreams of joining the IPS will come a full circle now, with Sandhya (Deepika Singh) doing the same to fulfil Sooraj’s professional dreams. 

Yes, you heard it right!! It will come as a shocking blow for the members in the Rathi family, when Sandhya will decide to resign from her police officer’s duty, and go ahead to live Sooraj’s dream of having the best sweet shop around.

Tonight’s episode will bring about the revelation when Sandhya will be seen giving her resignation papers to her senior officer. 

As per reliable sources, “Sandhya’s main intention will be to keep her husband happy. And knowing that his happiness lies in the success of his sweet shop, Sandhya will take the major decision of her life.”

All will start when there will be loads of complaints against the food commodities prepared at Sooraj’s shop. All this will break Sooraj from within. And this will be when Sandhya will emerge as the pillar of support for Sooraj. 

Our source further states, “In order to re-gain the trust of her angry customers, Sandhya along with the shop fellows will prepare delicious prasad and will start giving it to people coming to the temple. At the end of the day, Sandhya will succeed in proving that Sooraj’s shop has the capacity to prepare healthy and delightful delicacies.”

Will Sandhya succeed in keeping Sooraj’s head high?

We also hear that Tu Mera Hero fame actor Manav Verma will soon enter Diya Aur Baati Hum, in the character of Dipan. The man will have his own sweet mart, and will be the professional rival of Sooraj. With Sooraj being ill, Dipan will feel that this is the right time to push Sooraj out of the limelight, by gaining more business.
