Popular actress Parul Chauhan and Producer Rajan Shahi’s association gave the TV viewing audience the classy tale of two sisters, Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai. Later, Parul had a brief appearance in Director’s Kut’s Amrit Manthan.
Now, Parul is back with the production house in its extremely popular show on Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Yes, you heard it right!! And the actress has dared to take on a very unusual role, that will only put her in an elite position as far as her acting credentials go!!
News coming in is that Parul has been roped in to play the step-mother of Karthik (Mohsin Khan).

As per credible sources, “Parul will play the over-ambitious, money-loving mother to Karthik.”
Joining Parul will be yet another noted actor, Sandeep Rajora. Sandeep, who has a vast body of work, will play the father of Karthik.
In the coming days, Karthik’s family will enter and their coming in will add new flavour to the storyline.
We tried calling both Parul and Sandeep, but could not get through to them.
We tried buzzing Producer Rajan Shahi, but did not hear from him till the time of filing the story.
