Pearl Grey's Spellbound Productions to make a new show for Zee TV; Neha Marda likely to get the lead role

Earlier in the day, Tellychakkar.com reported about Zee TV’s in-house production house Esselvision Productions coming up with a mythological on a grand scale based on the life of the saint and warrior Parashuram. We now have exclusive information about Producer Pearl Grey’s Spellbound Productions coming up with their first solo project for Zee TV, which will be a fiction show with the backdrop of Jhansi. Earlier, they had produced Pratigya in collaboration with Walkwater Media on Star Plus. A reliable source reveals to us that the casting is presently on for the show. The yet untitled show will launch in November 2013, with the promo hitting air as soon as the cast gets finalized. And here is the biggie!!! Talented and gorgeous actress Neha Marda who won all hearts as Gehna in Colors’ Balika Vadhu is most likely to bag the lead role in this Spellbound show on Zee TV. Final talks are presently on with her, reveals a source. For the uninitiated, Neha was earlier short listed to play a pivotal role in the production house’s sequel of Pratigya on Star Plus. However, with the sequel not happening, Neha has been roped in for their other show on Zee TV. We tried contacting Producer Pearl Grey, but she remained out of reach. Our efforts to get a reply to our text message sent to Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Zee TV remained futile. When contacted, Neha refused to comment.
