MUMBAI: The gorgeous Ridheema Tiwari, who won the hearts of millions with her splendid performances in Begum Jaan and Life OK’s Ghulaam, is basking in post-marital bliss. The actress comes across as a very positive and honest person. In a candid chat with TellyChakkar, she reveals five myths about her.
1. Tomboyish, edgy, and rough
I come across as tomboyish, edgy, and rough on the outside, whereas I am absolutely the opposite. I am simple, shy, and reserved. Sometimes, I rehearse a 100 times in my head before introducing myself.
2. Loud, rude, and arrogant
People feel that I am loud, rude, and arrogant, whereas in reality, I am an emotional and sensitive person, and sometimes, I find it difficult to say no. I also can easily get hurt, but I am getting better at handling that. I can find it difficult to share my hurt at times, but I am finding gentler ways to do it—with compassion for self and the other.
3. Overtly friendly and fake
People feel that I am overtly friendly, yet superficial and fake. I agree that I am quite articulate and love to express, which may be somewhat new for people who don't typically see appreciation or warmth as a ‘reality’ expressed in the ‘reel’ world.
4. Unpredictable
People assume I am outgoing, experimental, unpredictable, and moody. I love meeting people and love learning from most of them. Parties and events are an innate part of my profession, but I personally dislike late-night outings. I am a vegetarian and love my mornings and my 7-hour sleep. I love commitment in relationships and am experimental only in the roles I play. I love music, nature, and my own company, which confuses people with my extrovert behaviour of expressing too much versus keeping to myself. Hence, they assume I am moody.
5. Manipulative
I come across as manipulative, street smart, and an over ambitious woman. However, I am a mindful woman who loves to balance personal and professional life, which keeps me grounded and humble. I love my space with my select family and friends and find it difficult to trust people easily. But I am working on this one.
