Pooja Banerjee, the diffident Rewa of Channel V’s Swim Team (Endemol India) will go through a makeover of sorts, both physically and mentally.

In the episodes to come, the ever-fearful Rewa will shed off her fears and take a giant step towards becoming a complete sportsman.

Recently, Pooja shot for a promo that will be on air very soon. As per the promo, Rewa will gain in confidence, and will go through all the hardships to become a swimmer. She will be shown battling against all odds, keeping her spirits high.

When contacted, Pooja who has been a National level swimmer in real life, told us, “Yes, viewers will get to see a more confident and goal-driven Rewa now. The new promo will show her new challenge as a swimmer, wherein she will try to overcome hardships, injuries and other mental worries. From here, the new journey of Rewa will kick-start.”

We hear that Rewa will also have a new look. She will now be seen in the typical swimmer’s get-up and in attires that suit the persona of a sports person.

“I am starting to think and act like Rewa. I have put myself on a strict diet, muscle and body work,” added Pooja.
