After the captivating entry of Shalin Bhanot as Raavan, the show is geared up for one of the important tracks in Ramayana.

The makers have roped in a new character to play the character of Surpnakha, Raavan's sister.

Priya Sandhu of Chandragupt Maurya fame will enter the show and will play this important character.

We buzzed Priya, and she said,'Surpnakha has been a very important character of Ramayana. and getting an opportunity to portray her has got me extremely excited. Siddharth Sir had seen my work before and therefore decided to give me this character. The look that I have donned is very different and interesting. We've kept in mind the story line and characteristics to ensure the look is perfect.'
