Ragini Khanna speaks about social causes

Ragini Khanna, is name in the television industry, who has always done shows depicting the issues of women empowerment or problems of women. Her roles in Bhaskar Bharti, Sasural Genda Phool and her appearance as a host in her recent game show Dil Hai Chota Sa Choti Si Aasha has won the hearts of millions and specially of women.

In a recent chat with Tellychakkar.com, the cheerful and bubbly lady opened up on social causes and spoke, “I think television nowadays is much more women-centric. Most of the shows that are now being made are centering around the life of women.”

“I believe television as an industry has not only depicted the issues of women empowerment but also have stood beside them whenever needed,” added Ragini.

Speaking about her latest show Dil Hai Chota Sa Choti Si Aasha, a unique game show, which helped women to make money through a game show, the actor commented, “Even my last show Dil Hai Chota Sa Choti Si Aasha was also for the cause of women empowerment, it was about to provide them with some financial aid. And while doing the show I realized how inspiring each story was.”

Speaking up more about the social issues in India, Ragini commented, “There are many social issues in India which needs to be solved at the moment. Poverty, lack of education, empowerment of women is just to name a few.”

It is pretty obvious that for an actor like her, who feels for the social causes, watching Satyamev Jayate is something inspiring. The actress also mentioned that how much she loves to watch the show.

It is nice to see an actor standing up and speaking about the social cause.
