Raj Mange is cute, sweet and mischievous. This 6 year old actor amazes everyone with his astounding performance as little Bajrangbali in Sagar Arts’ show on Sahara One, Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali. This talented bundle of joy won the Best Child Artist (Male) Award at the recently organized 11th Indian Telly Awards which will soon air on Colors. Kudos to Raj!!! And like any other child, he “loves doing masti.” When he was called to audition for the show, he was standing in the queue with many other children. But he kept on doing masti and made things miserable for the casting team. Even on the sets, he keeps running around and having fun till the director calls him to shoot. And when not having masti, he loves watching cartoon shows. “I like Chhota Bheem, Krishna and Doraemon,” says Raj. Young Raj shoots a lot. So does it not affect his education? “His school is in Mumbai and we are shooting in Baroda. So it gets difficult for him to attend school. But he does go for private tuitions. He will be in standard one now and we want him to concentrate on studies. We are just waiting for the show to take a leap which should happen sometime soon”, shares his mother Savi Mange. She also adds, “We never wanted him to get into acting but it’s just that once our neighbor, who is an EP (Executive Producer) with Sagar Arts, asked us to give him Jay’s picture and we did. Post which we went for auditions and he got selected. His track was meant to air for just three months initially but later it got stretched when viewers stated liking it.” So how does Raj manage to memorize such lengthy and heavy duty dialogues? “The AD (associate director) usually prompts him the dialogues and he repeats them. However, the shud Hindi that he uses on screen has become a part of his daily routine now. There are times when he says mamma… humein iski avashakta nahi hai (laughs). Raj…you are indeed a chota master blaster!!!
