So You Think You Can Dance, the Biggest dance reality platform has showcased some of the best talent from across the country in the audition so far. Moving forward, the show will commence The Galas that will see the Top 20 talent, handpicked by the judges, mesmerize the audience week on week with some superlative performances. With outstanding judges – Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis; Exceptional talent; and Inimitable hosts – Rithvik Dhanjani and Mouni Roy, the stage is set to present the biggest battle of Stage v/s Street.
Starting 14th May, The Galas will see 10 Stage dancers and 10 Street dancers paired with each other to prove their supremacy on the dance floor. While the stage and street dancers work as a team, the judges will look at their performance closely and scrutinize their every step and move while the audience votes for the pair that managed to win their hearts. Basis public voting the judges will take the final decision of eliminating 2 contestants based on their performance. While the contestants now gear-up to put their best foot forward, the makers have roped in India’s best choreographers to train the top 20 contestants! Bertwin, Deepak and Pratik will train the 10 contestants representing Stage and Jack & Dheeraj will be training the 10 contestants representing Street to perfect their moves and understand the art better.
With the kind of grit and determination seen on the show, one can only expect the judges to motivate the contestants and push them to give it their best. The opening episode of The Galas will see Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis raising the bar and setting the stage on fire with their performances. While Madhuri will be seen performing in a medley of songs, Bosco will put up a stunning street style act followed by Terence with an enthralling Broadway performance. And that’s not all! The opening episode will see special guests Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri who will not just promote their upcoming movie Azhar, but also encourage the contestants and take up spontaneous dance challenges from the hosts Rithvik and Mouni.
Speaking about the gala night, judge Terence Lewis says, “The Galas will be an eye opener to the incredible talent we have on our show. Some pairs will sizzle and some will surprise. But most importantly it will be quite exciting to see the contestants get out of their comfort zone to prove themselves. This for me is the litmus test that proves that today's generations of dancers are versatile and nothing can stop them.”

Presenting the Top 20 - new school hip hop dancer and mamma’s boy Sahil Khan from Indore; 23-year old rebellious dancer from Mumbai Aishwarya Radhakrishnan; the shy and quiet 16-year old Aryan Patra from Ranchi with krumping moves to kill for; a national scholarship holder and trained Kathak dancer from Delhi Kalpita Kachroo; little beast from Mumbai Prakash Bk capable of doing some Flips and Tricks that no-one has ever seen; the forgetful and ever smiling jazz dancer from Mumbai Krishna Mehta; 20 year old hip hop dancer from Nalasopara Tushar Shetty; huge Madhuri Dixit fan and Latin dancer Sneha Singh from Mumbai; 26 year old Urban dancer from Delhi Vinay Khandelwal; 16-year old chatterbox Latin dancer from Chandigarh Sanjana Bamrara; contemporary dancer from Haryana Deepak; power packed performer and huge Varun Dhawan fan Alisha Behura of Bhillai; Travis Wall fan and contemporary dancer Ryan Martyr of Delhi; animation dancer Kanchi Shah of
