The leap in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been in much talks recently. With the Directors’ Kut show all set to move forward 10 years next month, the casting team has been in a soup trying to find the perfect grownup kids.
With Naitik and Akshara’s child Naksh taking the legacy forward, a national daily has reported about good looking Rohan Mehra playing the grown up son.
Rohan has been part of shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and numerous episodics before bagging this meaty role.
With the track now shifting to South Africa, the family will be seen returning to India post a decade.
The role of the young Naksh is currently played by the cute Shivansh Kotia.
The six year long show stars Hina Khan and Karan Mehra in the lead.
