MUMBAI: After being part of shows such as Razia Sultan and Porus, actor Rohit Purohit says that it is a strong script that attracts him to a show. The actor, who is currently part of Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot’s show Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, says that he stays away from shows with “no story”.
“I have never really done a typical daily soap, I did one a very long time ago. I consciously don’t do the typical daily soaps type because I get bored after a certain time. Usmein karne ko kuch hota nahi hai. These shows have no story, according to me, it’s like a regular life. I prefer doing shows which has some stories, for example, when I did Razia Sultan or Porus, I knew the whole story and how it will end. The same is true for Dhadkan as well. The best part is similar costumes!” he says.
He adds, “It’s so much fun to play a character which has a specific story. This naach gaana or festive drama is not my cup of tea, I’m really happy doing this show and this role of Vikrant Saxena.”
