MUMBAI: Rohit Suchanti came into limelight after participating in Bigg Boss 12. His new project is Zee's Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai, a slice of life drama. 

In the show, Rohit is playing the role of a college student named Anshuman who is quite popular among girls. In fact, the main lead Megha Ray (Kajal) falls in love with him at first sight. However, things were different during his own college days. 

What do you think about this Showtee ?

In an interview with SpotboyE.com, Rohit said, "Unfortunately, nobody loved me that time. I never dated someone in my college days. I was super fat back then, around 107 kgs. So nobody used to look at me or give me any bhaav. But now, I have transformed myself completely, by not just losing weight but also keeping myself fit. I’m getting the attention that I was craving for. No one fell for me but I had fallen for a girl in school. I had even shared my feelings to her, but she rejected me. However, the best part is almost after eight years of my proposal, post my Bigg Boss journey, the same girl messaged me saying, 'Hi Rohit, do you remember me?' And I was so happy.” 

He added, "I did a couple of web shows like Class Of  2018 and one more which is yet to be streamed in which I played a college boy. And while shooting those scenes, I used to realise that I missed this kind of attention and fun. But I am glad that yet again, I will be playing a college student and at least experience these moments in reel life.”
