Actor Romanch Mehta who was seen in the recent ‘hijack’ track in Diya Aur Baati Hum has been roped in for an integral role in Zee &’s show titled Ganga, produced by Sphere Origins.
The show, as reported will have Hiten Tejwani in a prime role. Giving him company will be actors Gungun Uprari, Sushmita Mukherjee, Rakhi Tandon and kids Swar Hingonia and Ruhana Khanna.
We now hear that Romanch has been roped in to play the husband of Rakhi Tandon, sister to Hiten.
As per our source, “Romanch is still to sign on the dotted lines, but he is finalized to play the part. He will be a positive character, the lovable ‘mama’ to the kids in the house.”
Romanch was earlier seen in Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev and Chhhanchan.
When contacted, Romanch told us, “Talks have been on, but there is no confirmation as such.”
The show produced by the makers of Balika Vadhu will deal with the journey of the young girl by name Ganga and will tackle yet another social norm.
