Ronit Roy talks about his role in Sony TV's Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar

Ronit Roy
He is not called as the Amitabh Bachchan of the small screen for no reason. He is talented, has a wonderful screen presence and is superb with dialogue deliveries. The actor has delivered hits after hits on the small screen as well the big screen and continues to be a favourite with the audiences. Whether as advocate KD Pathak in Adaalat or Rishabh Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay, he has regaled viewers with his stellar performances. Well, we are talking about the dashing Ronit Roy. Ronit will soon be back in the daily soap space with Balaji Telefilms upcoming venture on Sony Entertainment Television, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar (IKNMP). When we got in touch with the actor over the phone, he was happy to share tidbits about the show with us. "This show portrays that husband and wife can separate, but parents cannot," he said. "The bond parents share with their kids shouldn't come in the way of the parents' separation." When we asked him about the kind of roles he prefers to play. Whether the angry types like in 2 States or the more matured and level-headed one in IKNMP, he said that he just couldn't choose. "I have always played roles that really excited me. I won't be able to choose between them," he said. While talking about his Bollywood projects, he said that he wouldn't let them come in the way of his TV shows. "I anyway don't do many Bollywood movies. So there's no reason to choose one medium over the other," he said. His upcoming movies include Anurag Kashayp's Ugly and Subhash Kapoor's Guddu Rangeela, among others. We wish the actor a huge success with his upcoming telly show and movies.
