SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to go off air this month

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Is there a garba move for sad moments too? If yes, then it’s time to perform one for the popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that has been ruling viewers’ heart for the past five years now. Well, the rib-tickler is all set to go off air this month. Shocking? Sure it is. Here’s more info. The reason of the sudden closure is the cast’s unwillingness to continue with the show owing to extreme boredom. The team is currently canning its last few episodes and the tentative off air date is 18 April (2014). An actor on terms of anonymity whispered in our ears, “Every morning I have to drag myself to play the same character. It’s like being in the same class taking the same lessons for five years.” A source from the sets informed, “The show has been topping the TRP charts, but creatively it has hit a stagnant point. The gags and situations are all done to death and there is nothing new that can be presented.” Thus, all the actors got together and surrounded the producer (Asit Modi) to find some solution. Daya ben (Disha Vakani) also did a violent garba to put her point across. So to put an end to this sad affair, Asit Modi decided to wrap up the show. We called up Asit, but the saddened man chose not to comment. As for the channel, they are trying their level best to retain their most watched show, but with the team refusing to continue, they have no other option but to let go. We also called up channel authorities but they too refused to comment. We will definitely miss the show. Share your views on the same in the comment section below. (April Fool story)
