Talented actor Sanjay Batra is famous for playing the ‘fatherly’ roles very well. His portrayal as the main girl’s father in shows Jyoti and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon have been appreciated a lot. 

He then followed it up with a rough and tough role, appeared as the ruthless politician Heth Singh in Colors’ Balika Vadhu. 

Now, Sanjay is all set to get into the skin of yet another challenging role in Life OK’s upcoming show, Piya Rangrezz, produced by Sphere Origins.

As per a reliable source, “Batra will play the role of a strong and good-minded politician who will go on to oppose the liquor queen, the character to be played by Narayani Shastri.”

When contacted, Sanjay Batra told us, “Talks are surely on, but I will be able to tell you about it only when I start shoot.”

Piya Rangrezz will be the second outing for Batra on the channel Life OK; he was earlier part of Baawre.
