Sarita Joshi to feature in Colors' Code Red

Veteran actress Sarita Joshi will depict the tale of today’s ‘troubled’ senior citizen who finds herself neglected by her family in an episodic tale of Colors’ Code Red.

Tonight’s episode will feature the seasoned actress, playing the role of an old lower middle class woman by name Padmavati. The lady would be so frustrated with the quarrels at home between her son and daughter-in-law about taking the onus of supporting her that she will one day walk out of home.

She will land up at the abode of a man who will yet again create problems for her.

When contacted, Sarita told us, “Yes, I will be featuring in tonight’s episode of Code Red. I was very happy when I got to know of the story plot, and I immediately accepted to do it. This story is about a senior citizen lady and her trauma. It actually depicts the state of living of many aged people in our country, who get neglected by their own grow-up kids. I was very much satisfied with the kind of performance this role needed from me.”
