While the television world has a dozen tales of celebrities who can't get along off-screen, here’s one duo that not only shares a special bond on-screen but are besties cum sisters off- screen too! We are talking about Samiksha Jaiswal who plays Mehek Sharma) and Shiny Dixit who plays her on-screen sister Nehal Sharma in Zee TV’s primetime show Zindagi Ki Mehek. Mehek and Nehal have a blast in each other’s company. From chilling, cracking jokes to reading their scripts together, these two girls are just inseparable. Just like their reel relationship, this Jodi shares a sisterly bond in real life too!
Mehek share, “Although I share a great rapport with all my co-actors, I share a very special bond with Nehal! And this bond has become stronger and stronger with each passing day. On-screen she’s my younger sis and off-screen she’s my elder sister. Every morning, I look forward to the shoot as I get to spend some quality time with my dearie. I must say, even if you are working round-the-clock, it does not get so tiring if you have a good companion with whom you can share everything under the sun and I’ve mine already. She further adds, “Whenever we get some free time from the erratic shoot schedule, we go for shopping, clubbing, eating and what not. Thanks to my show, I’ve got such a wonderful friend for life. No matter wherever we go in future, we’ll always be together”.
Nehal added, “Mehek is a sweetheart. She isn’t just a friend but a sister to me. Apart from being a great co-actor, Mehek is an amazing human being too. Whenever I feel low…it’s she who comes up with a solution for me. We’ve got loads in common. Be it food, films and a lot more. Both of us are big-time foodies and whenever we get time, we just run away to gorge on street food. I really miss her presence on the sets whenever she is not shooting”.
