Commitment and dedication are the keys to success and television heart-throb Sehban Azim surely knows how crucial perfection is. The actor has already won audiences over with his performance as the dynamic police officer, Malhar Rane in Zee TV’s latest fiction offering, Tujhse Hai Raabta. Sehban has been pulling out all the stops to get his on-screen avatar right. From toiling extra hard at the gym to getting the right physique of a cop to working on his diction, Sehban seems to be going the extra mile to make his character more impactful. Recently, he had to go shirtless for a sequence on the show. With very less time at hand to prepare, Sehban decided to opt for one of the toughest routes - going off salt and water for 24 hours, in fact after a rigorous work out a day prior to the shoot, Sehban stayed without consuming any food except his protein shakes for 24 hours to showcase his well-toned physique in all its glory. Sehban said, “I don’t think I can survive a day without hitting the gym, so I cultivate a lean toned physique in general. But when I learned that I had to go shirtless for a sequence the very next day, I was concerned about the results as actors take weeks and months to prepare for a shirtless shot, change their diets, cut carbs and the works. I had no such privileges and yet, wanted my body to look perfect. So dire situations call for desperate measures. I took matters into my own hands immediately. Though I do not recommend this to anyone, I undertook a strenuous workout one day prior to the shoot of my shirtless scene and cut out all salt, water, sugar and decided to fast for 24 hours. I am glad that my efforts paid off and we managed to get a perfect shot.” Well, we can’t wait to see Sehban flex some muscles on screen.
