Popular contemporary dancer Shakti Mohan is set to make her Bollywood debut with ace choreographer and director Remo D'Souza's film.
Shakti, who has participated in reality TV dance shows like "Dance India Dance season 2", "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and in Channel V's TV show " Dil Dostii Dance", will be playing the lead in the film alongside dancer Salman Yusuff Khan.
"I'm very excited to be part of this project. Remo sir is my mentor and it is a dream come true to be making a debut through my childhood passion which is dance," Shakti said in a statement.
The film will be a romantic love story that will be based on ballet as a dance form and will also mark Remo’s debut as a producer, read a statement.
Shakti will also be a mentor on TV show “Dance + Season 2”.
