Shashi Sharma to enter Star Plus' Suhani Si Ek Ladki

Shashi Sharma and Sahil Mehta
Star Plus’ Suhani Si Ek Ladki, produced by Panorama Entertainment will see some huge drama with the entry of the male protagonist Yuvraj’s (Sahil Mehta) grandmother in the show. There was a buzz earlier that actress Sanyogita Bhave would be playing the role of the Dadi. However, we now hear that noted actress Shashi Sharma has been roped in to play the character. Dadi is the one who would plant the thought into Yuvraj that external beauty is what a person should be judged by. The lady herself would be very conscious of her looks and would do everything to maintain herself even at an old age. She would be conventional in her ways, but would also keep herself updated with today’s times in terms of gadgets and technology. We hear that the production house had been on the lookout for an actress to play the role perfectly. They waited for the perfect casting to introduce Dadi’s character. Now, Shashi will be shown returning from a long pilgrimage trip. When contacted, Shashi told us, “Yes, this is a very strong character; nobody would dare to disobey the woman. The lady will be very positive and spiritual. She would always judge a person by their beauty and complexion. Nothing else would matter for her.” Shashi has started shooting and her entry will air soon. Watch this space for more exclusive updates.
