DD National is coming up with a women-orientated chat show, which would be hosted by the dynamic Shruti Ulfat. She is currently seen on Zee TV’s Jamai Raja as well.

It will be of 26-episodes, featuring women from across India who have had to go through a lot of struggle in life before emerging a winner. 

Shruti will interact these women about their difficulties and how they overcame it all. 

“It has real life stories, which are inspiring and touching. I feel proud to be a part of this project that shows the real side of the world. Listening to the stories of these women gives me goosebumps. I must say that they are very strong. My immense respect to all of them,” said Shruti.

The show will also have Balika Vadhu actress Smita Bansal as a celebrity guest in one of the episodes.

Stree Shakti launches on 30 May. It will air every weekend at 9 PM.
