Shubhangi is a good copy cat: Shilpa Shinde

Oh boy!!! What do we have here... an irate Shilpa Shinde...of course.

The lady of the moment, who is hogging all the media spotlight currently, for not so good reasons, has again set the cat among the pigeons.

Shilpa, after filing a police complaint on charges of defamation, criminal conspiracy and extortion against prominent industry bodies CINTAA, IFTPC and FWICE, has again opened another thread of controversy.

Shilpa, as we all know, was replaced by Shubhangi Atre to play the role of Angoori in &TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai (Edit II Productions).

Earlier in the evening we chatted with Shilpa and when we asked her about Shubhangi’s performance as Angoori, she said sarcastically: “She is a good copy cat. I have seen her on the show. You can make someone look and dress like Angoori, but it’s not easy to act like Angoori. She is a good actress and will definitely do well in her career if she stops imitating and does something original.”

Ouch!!! Pinching words!!!

So where does it end, the entire Bhabhiji tussle? “I don’t know. I am motivated to continue this fight as I know that I have done no wrong. I am not scared. Yes, some people got upset that I got politicians involved in the case, but I was left with no choice. CINTAA and the producers were the ones playing politics.”

She continued after a break: “Kya maanga tha maine (what did I ask for?) I worked hard for the show and my character became popular. Apna aukat dekh ke hi per day maanga tha maine (Depending on my worth I asked for a raise). What’s wrong in that? It was such a small issue which could have been sorted out, but they blew it out of proportion. Now, let’s see where it ends.”

Shilpa, hope peace prevails and the differences iron out soon.
