Sony TV to bring back Aahat after four years

Aahat
It’s time to get ‘spooked’ all over again!!! Viewers who have been craving to get their dose of horror and thrill with stories revolving around mystery and supernatural elements on television will get their smile back, coming this November. Yes, the big exclusive news coming to you via Tellychakkar.com is that Aahat, the popular thriller and horror series, produced by B.P. Singh and Pradeep Upoor’s Fireworks Productions will be back on Sony Entertainment Television!! A highly placed source tells us, “Presently, the channel and the makers are chalking out plans and strategies to bring back the popular horror series. Aahat has been the talk of the town for years now, and the channel wants to bring in fresh, interesting and crisp horror stories that will bring in a variety to their programming line-up. The channel plans to roll out the project by this November, and it will be placed on a biweekly slot.” For the uninitiated, Aahat, the popular show has had a run of five seasons, from October 1995 to 25 November 2010, with a total of more than 450 episodes being produced. The best part is that acclaimed writer Sridhar Raghavan who penned the interesting horror stories for the initial 300 episodes of Aahat will again be back on the show as writer. Sridhar has also written for Fireworks Productions’ long-running Sony TV show, CID. We tried contacting Producer B.P. Singh to get a confirmation on this piece of news, but he remained out of reach. We buzzed the channel spokesperson for a comment, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the article. Remember, you got to read this exclusive news first on Tellychakkar.com.
