Subuhi Joshi out of Big Magic's Boys; Jasmine Avasia takes her place

Subuhi Joshi and Jasmine Avasia

Big Magic’s bold sex comedy, ‘Boys’ has been in the headlines for some time now. Earlier, the show was to be produced by Vikas Gupta’s Lost Boy Productions. But certain creative differences brought about a change, and now the show is being helmed by Yash Patnaik’s Beyond Dreams.

As reported by us, Ashwini Koul, Subuhi Joshi, Nikhil Mehta, Sana Sayyad, Kunal Khosla were supposed to be part of it.

However, we now hear that Subuhi is no longer part of Boys. Getting her place now, will be yet another beautiful face, Jasmine Avasia.

As per reliable sources, “Jasmine who was last seen in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan has stepped in and has started shoot. She will play the role of Jane, a hot chic who would have a hatred for men.”

As for Subuhi, we hear that she faced certain date issues, wherein the channel and makers wanted her to allot them few days, when she was supposed to be shooting for her successful show, Comedy Classes on Life OK.

When contacted, Subuhi reiterated the fact by saying, “Well, I will never give my dates allotted for Comedy Classes to any show. I simply love being part of it, and that will always be my priority. Having said this, I wanted to be part of Boys. But they wanted some dates which actually clashed with my other show. Hence I had to opt out.”

Jasmine confirmed that she has started shooting for Boys, “Yes, it is a brilliant character, and I am supposed to be playing a hot NRI girl.”

All’s well that ends well!! Best of luck to team Boys...
